Privacy policy
Truly Shipped reads delivery metadata from the tools a customer connects and turns it into team reports. We never fetch your code or collect AI prompts.
Who we are
Truly Shipped is a trade name of Beck Works, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (“we”), which runs the service at trulyshipped.com. For each customer workspace, the customer controls its team's data and we process it on their behalf. For your own account details, such as your name and email, we are responsible for them directly.
What we collect
| Source | What we store | What we never collect |
|---|---|---|
| Your account | Name, work email, role, sign-in times, and the browser that requested a sign-in link | Passwords (there are none) |
| Jira | Issues, epics and sprints: keys, summaries, types, statuses, assignees, story points and status changes. Webhook events carry the whole issue as Jira sends it, which can include its description and comments, and we store them as received. | Attachments |
| GitHub | Pull requests, reviews, review comments, commits and deployments as GitHub's API returns them: titles, descriptions, review and comment text, authors, timestamps, commit messages and change counts. GitHub attaches to each review comment the few lines of code it points at, and we store that as sent. To measure rework, we also ask GitHub which commit last changed each line of the files a merged pull request touched, and for the repository's list of file paths to follow files that moved: line numbers, commit ids and paths, counted and then discarded. | Repository files or full diffs; we never fetch your code |
| GitHub Copilot | Per-person daily usage counts from GitHub's metrics API: interactions, suggestions, lines added and features used | Prompts, completions or code |
| Claude Code | Per-person daily usage counts sent by Claude Code's telemetry to our collector: sessions, lines added and removed, tool accepts and rejects, and estimated cost | Prompts, responses, file contents or file paths |
| Anthropic Admin API | The same daily usage counts, from your Anthropic organization | Prompts or responses |
We keep each record as the source sent it, so reports can be rebuilt and checked. We use no advertising or analytics trackers, and the only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in.
How we use it
- To compute delivery, flow, quality and AI-usage metrics for your teams, and show them to the people your workspace allows (see Who sees what).
- To write the weekly team digest. Its facts go to Anthropic's API: team name, issue keys and types, story points, epic and initiative names, and computed metrics. No person's name or email is sent, and Anthropic does not train on API data.
- To send sign-in links, invitations and digests by email.
We never sell data, never use it to train models, and never combine one customer's data with another's.
If you connect your own AI assistant to Truly Shipped (see Use it from your AI assistant), it reads what your role can see and sends it to that assistant's provider. That transfer and the provider's processing are under your agreement with them, not this policy. You can see and disconnect your connected assistants in your account settings, and deactivating a member disconnects all of theirs. We log what each assistant changes, and your workspace's admins can review that log.
Retention and deletion
- Workspace data is kept while the workspace is active.
- When a workspace is closed, we delete its data within 30 days. Encrypted database backups age out within a further 7 days.
- Application logs are kept for 30 days.
- An admin can deactivate a member at any time, which signs them out everywhere and stops their email.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from digest emails from any digest, or in Settings → Notifications. To see, correct or delete your personal data, ask your workspace admin or write to chris@trulyshipped.com; we answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object, or to complain to your data protection authority.
Data is stored in the United States, in Amazon Web Services' Ohio region. The companies that process it for us are listed on Subprocessors.
Changes
We'll post changes here and email workspace admins about material ones.
